When it comes to Health it all begins with our Mind, I know what you are going to say you are over people telling you that it is all in your head: NO: NO: that is not what I mean throughout our life we will always be challenged with health issues what I am talking about is how well we overcome these issues is very much dependant on our thought patterns. Also in order to prevent, preventable health problems our level of thinking has to be monitored as to whether we will take a positive attitude toward planning our health and overcoming our problems, or we are going to take a negative attitude believing nothing can be done. Of course this may well be true if someone has spent their life doing everything to damage their health, but if we can focus on doing things that are beneficial to our health, then our body is remarkable with the right fuel in becoming & staying well
The Body/Mind Connection – How your Brain works!
Your brain has two main compartments when it comes to information going into it. We have the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious part of our brain is the thoughts that we are aware of; the subconscious is the part we are not aware of and is like a sponge whereby information is absorbed and retained. Information whether right or wrong will remain here until replaced with new or different information. Our brain is the main metre for our nervous system which affects and controls all our body functions. It is not unlike a computer and it is very important that we take control of what is going into it with our thinking.
Your thoughts will determine the type of day you are going to have, so by changing your thoughts you will change your day
How you feel about yourself, how you feel and behave toward others, your expectations of life, the type of life we are going to have, the type of food we are going to eat, whether we exercise or not, our total quality of health and life. “Words can harm and words can heal”, so it is vitally important to monitor the words we use to explain what is happening within our day, about ourselves and others.
